Jawbone made its first debut on June 8, 2004 at the Wall Street Journal’s prestigious “All Things Digital Conference” in Carlsbad, California. During a dramatic live presentation, an audience of business leaders and tech giants watched as Jawbone suppressed the noise of a boom box, blender, and a weed whacker only a few feet from a mobile phone (click here to watch the video presentation in Real Player - download & view). Immediately, it won overwhelming praise and has since been featured in major publications such as Forbes, Wired, USA Today, Time, and Popular Science. It also has received coverage on both ABC and CBS News. And in mid July of 2004, it received Business Week’s coveted “2004 Silver High-tech Annual Design Award”.
Jawbone's frame architecture (designed by Yves Béhar) has been on display at the San Franciso Museum of Modern Art. And in mid September of this year, Jawbone finished first in the “Sound Off” competition against industry elite leaders Plantronics and Logitech at the 2004 DEMOmobile convention.
In just the past few weeks alone, Jawbone has received critical acclaim from some of the nation's finest publications (CNET.com’s prestigious Editor’s Choice Award, FORTUNE.com "Best Product of the Year").
